The 3rd of October at the McKillop Centre in Lochwinnoch saw the culmination of over 2.5 years work for the Clachan project. The Clachan Music Project is a community arts initiative by the Lochwinnoch Arts Festival team and backed by The National Lottery Community Fund. Over many many months, local residents, songwriters, and poets gathered to share folklore, memories, and their very own personal histories of the village, turning those stories into 15 original tracks spanning a wide variety of genres such as contemporary folk, funk, electronica, and spoken word. This was one of the songs that appeared on that CD. The culmination of the project was celebrated on Saturday, 3rd October at the McKillop Institute in Lochwinnoch to a packed crowd.
