Andress High School Band 1987 Ross Capshaw Invitational Sun Bowl

The Andress High School Golden Eagle Marching Band of El Paso Texas in the fall of 1987. Program is Thunder & Blazes and Young Person's Guide. Band Director is Mr. René Rosas, Assistant Director is Mr. Phillip Alvarado. Drum majors are Michael Phillips, Becky Perez and Melinda Balarbar. This is the year the band won the NMSU Tournament of Bands for the 3rd consecutive year, thus keeping the traveling trophy which is currently still in the Andress High School Band Hall. The band would win the NMSU TOB a fourth time in 1988.
