Thyroid nodules often do not cause symptoms and are usually discovered during routine exams or unrelated imaging tests. However, when symptoms occur, they may include noticeable swelling at the base of the neck, difficulty swallowing or breathing, hoarseness, and symptoms of hyperthyroidism such as unintended weight loss, rapid heartbeat, nervousness, and increased sensitivity to heat. Most thyroid nodules are benign, but the presence of symptoms warrants a consultation with a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and potential testing, including blood tests, ultrasound, and sometimes a biopsy, to determine the nature of the nodule. 00:01 - Intro 01:26 - Symptoms of Hyperthyroidism 04:14 - Why do Hyperthyroidism Occur? 07:19 - How to Diagnose Hyperthyroidism? 09:46 - Treatment options of Hyperthyroidism 11:12 - Risk of Surgery for Hyperthyroidism 12:38 - Non Surgical Treatment for Hyperthyroidism -------------------------------- // Links:- Website: www.drgauravgangwani.com Gmail: drgauravgangwani@gmail.com Instagram:   / drgauravgangwani   LinkedIn:   / dr-gaurav-gangwan   Facebook:   / drgauravgangwani   Twitter:   / drgauravgangwni   For appointment of Dr. Gaurav Gangwani (Interventional Radiologist), call/whatsapp on : +919082394787 // Disclaimer: The video is for educational purpose so that the patients benefit from the information and can take better informed choices.
