AWDC Safari Ludlow June 1981

In June 1981 the AWDC held a Comp Safari at New House Farm, Ludlow. Competitors had travelled from far and wide to tackle the hilly course which was set out by Harold Strudely. This video also includes the original recording of Pete Foley's spectacular multi roll when he got out of shape decending the hill high above the farm. This is a nostalgic look at the Safari's the AWDC were organising in the early eighties. Many of the regular personalities of the time appear in this video which gives a flavour of the atmosphere generated at these events. Camera John Hilton
