The Karakoram is a five-hundred-kilometre range between Pakistan, India and China, and the general public knows exactly one mountain on it. That mountain is not in this film. These are seven true stories from walls and towers where commercial teams never go: Gasherbrum IV, Broad Peak, Muztagh Tower, Great Trango, Trango Tower, Ultar Sar and Spantik. Dmitry Golovchenko and Sergey Nilov, Enric Pujol and Manuel Hernández, Pavle Kozjek and Dejan Mišković, Hans Christian Doseth and Finn Dæhli, Takeyasu Minamiura, Christian Huber, Asma Mushtaq. Different years, different mountains and different accidents all run into the same wall: the only rescue service on the entire range is the Pakistan Army aviation, and a helicopter has an altitude above which it physically cannot hold itself in the air. Everything that happens above that line, a person has to solve alone.
