We take a scenic walk along the coastline, soak up the views across Christchurch Harbour and check out the famous and surprisingly expensive beach huts at Mudeford. It’s a beautiful part of the Dorset coast, and we’re taking you along to see what makes it such a special place. Hengistbury Head is a stunning coastal nature reserve located on the edge of Bournemouth, with spectacular views across Christchurch Harbour, Mudeford Sandbank and the surrounding Dorset coastline. It’s a great place for a scenic walk, with a fascinating mix of beaches, heathland, wildlife and dramatic coastal scenery. Mudeford Beach is famous for its colourful beach huts, some of which are among the most expensive in the UK, with certain huts having sold for hundreds of thousands of pounds! These quirky little huts sit right on the beach and offer some pretty incredible views across the sea and harbour. The area is easily accessible and perfect for walking, exploring and enjoying the outdoors, with miles of coastline to discover and plenty of beautiful spots to stop and take in the scenery.
