Benue State Police Command has arrested 46 suspects allegedly linked to the obstruction of Peter Obi’s convoy during his visit to the state, with Commissioner of Police Cletus Nwadiogbu saying investigations are ongoing and more arrests could follow. The incident has renewed conversations about political intolerance, security preparedness and the safety of political activities as Nigeria moves closer to the 2027 general elections.
