Full title: Barrage Musical ~A Fantasy of Tempest~
A deathless clear of BM that also doesn't use the autopilot ability you can buy from the shop. This is the first video where I'm running with the "Touhou-like" title for these similar But Not A Touhou Fangame games. I'll be opting to go for No-Miss (with full mechanic usage) rather than No-Bomb runs since they're a lot more interesting.
I played this game about two weeks ago for the first time in five years... and managed to get an LNM run on my first try there. Fast forward to today, and now I did it again, but with footage this time! My main reasoning for doing this is to mix things up from the fangame LNN grind I've been doing lately, even though I haven't even touched a single video game this past week due to my job and other obligations.
I remember really REALLY loving this game a lot back in 2018, but I now think it's a simple but decently fun time. How everything is synced to the music, along with stage 4, and the epic escape sequence is really what makes this game appealing to me. I also love it when your score is represented by money or gold, it's just really good for my dopamine sensors lol (hence why I like to intentionally bomb a lot for coins during the maze section in stage 4).
Type-B is the shot you want to use if you have no idea what you're doing (me) and don't have any routes figured out. Type-A seems to be the best for survival since the wideshot is great and does a lot of damage while pointblanking, while Type-C seems to be the scoring shot since you can probably set up some cool stage routes with the angle shot for optimal coinage. In order to fight the True Last Boss, you need to reach the stage 5 boss with 1.3 million coins and then select the bottom dialogue option when prompted.
Ultra mode also exists; I'm not going to bother recording a run of it since a clear of it is still pretty chill, but I also don't want to learn or memo for a UNM.
