Brits SHOCKED by American Trucks and their SIZE "They're MASSIVE!"

Somebody is standing in a car park in England right now telling his mates his truck is massive. He drives a Ford F150. An American hears that and has to work out how to respond politely, because a Ranger is what they'd hand a teenager. Same word. Two completely different objects. And nobody finds out which one they've been using until they're standing next to the other. In this video, a man says he assumed Americans were exaggerating about their trucks — right up until somebody handed him the keys to a six-point-seven litre turbo diesel. Another needs a step to climb into the driver's seat and films himself doing it. A Brit who arrived wanting a nice sports car admits, on camera, that he now wants a pickup he has absolutely no use for. Then it gets more interesting than the trucks themselves. Why European lorries are flat at the front while American ones have a long bonnet — which turns out to be regulation, not styling. Europe limits total vehicle length, so every inch in front of the cab is an inch you can't load. America measures the trailer instead, so the front can be as long as you like. Why American fire engines are so much bigger — because American suburbs are built from timber, timber burns fast, and the response has to be scaled to the houses. And a question a British couple still can't answer after a year here: why does nobody reverse into a parking space? The answer turns out to be in the bay itself. When the space is that wide, you don't need the manoeuvre. The habit disappears because the problem it solved never existed. Somebody sums the whole thing up in two words after a week of it.
