Singapore Airlines Suites (First) Class - Singapore to Tokyo Narita (SQ 12) - Airbus A380-800

In this trip report, we take a look at the Singapore Airlines A380 Suites Class on board a flight from Singapore to Tokyo (Narita). The journey begins with our ride dropping us off at the dedicated First Class terminal at Changi airport. Our bags and check-in formalities are handled by the concierge service as we wait comfortably in a lounge area. It's not before we make our way through a private immigration lane, which exits conveniently in front of the SilverKris lounge entrance. As we're flying in Suites Class, we're granted entrance to the exclusive "Private Room". We indulge in some a-la-carte breakfast in the dining area, and then have a quick look around the lounge before heading to the gate for boarding. Suites Class passengers board the A380 via a seperate jetbridge that leads directly to the cabin. On the flight, we review the hard product seat in detail. All the nooks and crannies are examined - the seat, the cushion, the leather appointments, the fixed shell surrounding the seat, the IFE screen, the ottoman, the storage spaces, the privacy screen, etc. This 7 hour flight has only one meal service available. We chose the Japanese fine-dining option, which was the Kyo Kaiseki meal. The highlights include Dom Perignon champagne, Singaporean satay sticks, caviar, lobster, a multi-course Japanese tasting menu, and the Wedgwood bone china the meals are served on. The different seat positions and the double bed are also reviewed in the video. The IFE (also known as KrisWorld) is briefly reviewed as well. Upon arrival in Tokyo, we quickly breeze through immigration & customs and pick up our baggage.
