My Niece Killed My Son's Pizza Party For An E-Bike — By Morning The Caterer Was At My Brother's Door

Insurance underwriter Simone spent 8 months planning her son Kai's $3,400 wood-fired pizza party — her brother Griffin handed his 10-year-old daughter Peyton a bucket of sandbox sand, pointed at the caterer's $11,600 oven, and promised her an e-bike if she killed the party. Thirty-two kids left hungry, and Griffin smiled: "Somebody had to pop this little stage you built." That night, Simone logged into her own homeowner's insurance portal and found three claims she never filed — fence, shed, patio — totaling $22,400, paid out on a forged endorsement traced back to a medical POA she'd signed for her mother's knee surgery. The 14-second GoPro footage showed Griffin loading the bucket and pointing Peyton at the oven — and the claim dates matched every major gap in a $31,000 workplace embezzlement scheme under audit six weeks away. Marco was at Griffin's door at 7:42 a.m. with one burned invoice and the video. Disclaimer: This story is entirely fictional and was created solely for entertainment.
