Leadership Conversations with Ben Nonoa I’m genuinely excited about this one. Ben Nonoa is a great friend, someone I deeply respect, and one of those people I always enjoy sitting down with because the conversation goes somewhere meaningful pretty quickly. Ben is part of the leadership of the YWAM Kona, helping develop and release young people into faith, mission, leadership and purpose across Asia and the Pacific. In this episode, we talk about leadership, identity, culture, faith, family and the experiences that shape who we become. We explore what it looks like to learn from those who have gone before us without simply becoming copies of them, and how good leaders create space for the next generation to grow into who they are meant to be. There’s plenty in this conversation for both emerging and experienced leaders — around humility, teachability, influence, culture and the responsibility we have to point the way without controlling the journey. One thought that really stayed with me was this: Good leaders point the way without demanding that the next generation walk exactly as they did. Ben brings such a thoughtful, grounded perspective, and I loved this conversation. I’m really looking forward to you hearing it.
