Lexus GX470 Shock Swap - Dobinsons Long Travel

Chase's GX470 gets a fresh set of shocks from Dobinson USA with custom valving. We will walk you through the steps it takes to swap out a set of shocks on your GX470, GX460, or Toyota 4runner (4th/5th gen) and show a couple tricks along the way. Keep in mind this vehicle is highly modified, so you may have slight variations in steps as you go through it. As always, exercise caution when dealing with springs, shocks, and suspension components. These parts are under extreme pressure and can be dangerous if not treated with respect. If you are not comfortable swapping out the front shock the way I show in this video, you can always disassemble the entire spring/coilover assembly and have a professional shop decompress the spring for you.
