Have You Ever Seen A Forest Like This?

Fanal Forest is located in the northwest of Madeira, Portugal. It's known for its ancient laurel trees and is often surrounded by thick fog, creating this otherworldly atmosphere. It is part of the UNESCO-protected Laurisilva of Madeira, one of the island's most unique natural treasures. We visited the forest twice, first in the pouring rain and then on a cloudy morning. Both times felt surreal, like being in a fairytale.
