the standard is my own...some guys can do 200-300 pushups per set...very few can do more than that..... I can do 100 per set......with minimal maintenance of that number once I acclimate to that number, I could not do pushups for a month and I'll still hit 100.... 100 per set is my long-term routine standard.... that's what I do now...that's what I'll do when I'm 65.... it's a strong benchmark and one that can be maintained for life..... that is how I have most all of my workouts designed these days.... high set squats....405.... I can do that for 2 working sets per workout routinely....now....and when I'm 65 that's what I'll be squatting.... deadlift.... high sets.... 455 now....and when I'm 65 I'll still be repping out 455 on my heaviest sets of deadlifts..... bench..... 350-400ilbs max now..... same story.... I can maintain that through my 60's..... I've exceeded all of these numbers in the past....by significant margins in some categories.... that is not the premise of my organized effort to training any longer.... just considering what happened with my shoulders over this past winter is reason enough to understand why that makes sense for somebody that does this shit....for the longhaul....not in sprints and spurts.... with breaks and deviation in between..... just part of my life.... high level moderation..... meaning..... there's some young guys out there that will pull 750 off the floor for like 5 reps..... worthy of a like on youtube....yeah....but do their video's make me feel like I should be trying to deadlift heavier......at this stage in my life.....not at all..... that's how you end up broken by your own resolve.......those lifts are impressive....and despite Youtube collecting data and presenting it in clusters they are not common achievements by your every day gym goer by any means....there are still statistically in reality not that many big strong people out there just walking around town each day.... that's just reality.....and further to that factor...... like 3 out of 50 will still be doing that 5 years later..... lol..... like 1 out of 50 will still lift weights 10 years later lol..... every day my physique my training and the structure of my macro nutrients outlook are built to put me in the exceptional statistic.....for life....not for being the best today.... I've already asserted my best efforts in training.... I utilized a pro nutritionist and honed my training philosophy by training at Iron Sport gym in the morning.... picking up tips and insight from pro strongman/men etc..... translated that into bodybuilding routines.... trained and dieted with national level heavy weight bodybuilders..... became comparable to them physically....registered a sub 5 percent bodyfat for 3 consecutive years straight.... measured by a certified pro.... lol.... with mass at 199.5 ilbs....214 ilbs at my final year..... I'm not doing that anymore..... this.... my training...my conditioning at the present day are not for next month....not for likes..... these are simple just documented insights pertaining to my current state, condition, and the longevity of that state overall is documented intact.... with this outlet....other outlets and in my personal memoirs and recollections in my long term storage........just being strong muscular and physically fit..... forever....just forever..... this is how that is done.
