Higurashi When They Cry makes me yearn for the warm comfort of a bed (BLIND)

in which executive dysfunction impacts our crime-doing abilities today's episode of Higurashi When They Cry manages to be boring but in a good writing way. it makes me really feel the exhaustion and misery that one would feel were they unfortunate enough to be in a Higurashi When They Cry visual novel. this section of the story reminds me of the unique feeling of dread and hopelessness you feel deep in your bones when you accidentally see a clock about one third of the way into your workshift. i think, scientifically, this is the worst time to look at the clock. anytime before then and you're probably still running on the adreneline of starting the day. anytime after half and at least you're more done than not done. but if you start work at 9am and finish at 5pm, and you catch the clock at about 11:40am, then you are sentenced to one million years of mind prison. they don't even send WIZARDS to mind prison anymore, not since the human rights activists kicked their protests into high gear.
