The Grateful Dead - Unbroken Chain

From the Grateful Dead’s album “From the Mars Hotel” released in 1974. This video was made with the separate tracks of the song “Unbroken Chain” from Dead.net with the audio applied to a Blender file. This music video was made using similar skeleton characters that have been have used in other videos for Bluebird Bridge. Some of the animations are from Mixamo.com that have been edited for the video. The planets are glTF 3D files created by NASA and imported into Blender. The planets objects are not placed into the Blender scene in true scale because they would be too small to see them at one time. A model of the “Wall of Sound” speaker system and the dual microphones the Dead used to prevent feedback was created by me and used in this music video. The “Unbroken Chain” separate tracks can be found here. https://www.dead.net/playingintheband “Unbroken Chain” was not performed live until March 19, 1995 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pa. more than twenty years after the album “From the Mars Hotel” was released. This happens to be a really great show and Charlie Miller’s soundboard recording is excellent. https://archive.org/details/gd1995-03... The audio for this music video is a remix of the separate tracks into a 5.1 surround file. That 5.1 surround music video can be found at this link. https://archive.org/details/surround-... #blenderrender #blender #GratefulDead #phillesh #JamBandVideos #PsychedelicMusic #TrippyVisuals #JamBandLove #CosmicJourney #LiveMusicExperience #MindExpandingVideos #Psychedelic #JamBand #Hippie #woodstocknorth #trippyvisuals
