After luckily driving him away, he reaches the parking garage, where he meets Ada Wong, who claims to be an FBI agent. When Leon is in danger, Ada arrives in time to save him and tells him to leave the place immediately, but Leon refuses. He then enters the jail and finds Ben Bertolucci, a reporter who is being held in a cell. Mr. X suddenly appears and attacks Ben, forcing Leon to find a way to open the cell and retrieve the parking garage access card that Ben has on him To open Ben's cell, Leon must find 2 electrical components located in the Shooting Range and the Clock Tower. While passing through the area near the crashed helicopter, Mr. X suddenly appears and pursues Leon, making it more difficult to find the components. After finding both components, Leon returns to the jail, opens Ben's cell and retrieves the card. He also discovers a mysterious recording between the Police Chief and a woman named Annette Birkin When Leon returns to the parking garage to escape the RPD, Mr. X suddenly crashes through the wall and grabs him. Just then, Ada arrives in a truck, pushes Mr. X away and saves Leon once again. Khi đi qua khu vực chiếc trực thăng bị rơi, Mr X bất ngờ xuất hiện và truy đuổi Leon, khiến việc tìm kiếm các linh kiện trở nên khó khăn hơn.
