After our first evening at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar, we begin our journey towards Barkot, the base for our upcoming Yamunotri pilgrimage. Our day starts with breakfast at Hotel Elgrovia, followed by an unexpected vehicle sensor issue that takes us to the Dehradun Force workshop. After a delay of over two hours, we continue our journey, stop for lunch at Hotel Highway Inn & Restaurant in Hathiyari Katapatthar, and take a memorable break to photograph a roadside waterfall.
