Amos 2:1-16 God is against the exploitation of the poor. Israel was punished by God for exploitation of the poor and the helpless. Most rulers are guilty of exploiting the poor and the needy in their nation. Marxist and communist revolutions were human attempt to overthrow the yoke of oppression. But this too ended up in creating more dictators and oppression around the world. The only way forward for a society to enjoy peace, prosperity and freedom is to come to the Knowledge of God in Christ Jesus. Christ has inaugurated the Kingdom of God on earth. Only in him, we shall see the oppressed free in this world. Amos is a warning to the nations of the world who oppress the poor. जीवनमा उत्तम कुराको अपेक्षा राख्नुहोस कारण जे हामी सोच्छौं त्यो वास्तविकतामा परिणत हुने धेरै ठूलो सम्भावना छ। Expect good things in life because our expectations have the habit of becoming reality.
