This is a London Trams service from Wimbledon to Elmers End.
Beginning service in 2000 it is the first London Tram service since the withdrawal of trams in 1952. Previously known as Croydon Tramlink with just 23 CR4000 Bombardier trams and operated firstly on route 3 between Croydon and New Addington from 10th May 2000, followed by route 2 (Croydon to Beckenham Junction) on 23rd May, with the final section, route 1 (Wimbledon to Elmers End) opening a week later on the 30th May.
