Is the town of Banff overrated? We're staying in Canmore and drove into Banff downtown for the first time — and honestly, the town itself kind of underwhelmed us (the park is a whole other story). We grabbed breakfast at Farm & Fire, wandered the shops, then headed back to Canmore for matcha at Wagashi Tea House, a walk along Policeman's Creek, dinner at Blakes, and finished at Everwild — Canmore's first Nordic spa — with our honest review.
