SLENDERMAN! | Slender The Arrival 2023 REMASTER [HORROR GAME]

Slender The Arrival is a horror game from 2013 that has recently received a remaster for its 10 year anniversary in 2023. Slender The Arrival is one of the original Slenderman Games and still holds up to this day. Begin Slender The Arrival off by collecting 8 pages while trying to avoid Slenderman while he tries to stop you. After locating the 8 pages you find yourself in an underground facility trying to turn on generators while avoiding the ghost of a missing child name Charlie. Next you must survive a scary and mysterious farm until finally escaping through a burning forest while still trying to avoid being taken by Slenderman. Overall Slender the arrival is a decent experience, however even with the new remaster it still feels a little dated and doesn't truly maintain the scary vibe I felt back when I initial played the game nearly 6 years ago. I just think the horror genre has been pushed to a whole new level over the past few years and what used to be scary pails in comparison to many of the newer games created by amazing developers such as Emika Games and N4BA. Even through I didn't exactly get the experience I was hoping for, there were still several good moments in Slender The Arrival that kept me on the edge of my seat!
