100 new Spanish phrases that native speakers use every single day, and not one of them was in part one. These are the words Spaniards say constantly and that almost no course ever teaches you: claro, vale, qué va, venga, es que, o sea, poco a poco, más o menos.
Every phrase comes the same way: first in English so you know exactly what it means, then in Spanish, then a short note on how it's really used, and then the phrase one last time with a pause so you can say it out loud with me. No grammar tables. No memorising lists. Just the Spanish people actually speak.
THE 10 BLOCKS IN THIS VIDEO:
✅ Quick reactions: claro, vale, por supuesto, exacto, tienes razón, ni idea, menos mal
✅ Opinions: creo que, me parece bien, estoy de acuerdo, me da igual, me encanta, prefiero
✅ Everyday life: me levanto a las, voy a trabajar, tengo que limpiar, estoy ocupado, qué sueño tengo
✅ On the phone: ¿diga?, se ha cortado, no te oigo bien, estoy sin batería, ¿hay wifi aquí?
✅ The weather: hace calor, hace frío, está lloviendo, va a llover, qué buen tiempo
✅ Making plans: ¿te apetece?, ¿quedamos?, ¿a qué hora?, voy de camino, llego tarde, ¿otro día?
✅ At the bar: una caña, ¿me pones?, ¿qué tapas tienen?, ¿me cobras?, invito yo, a medias
✅ Getting around: ¿este autobús va a...?, ¿dónde me bajo?, la próxima parada, pare aquí por favor
✅ Emergencies: ¡cuidado!, ¿me puede ayudar?, no funciona, me duele aquí, ¿dónde hay una farmacia?
✅ Sound like a local: vale vale, ¡qué va!, venga, es que, o sea, ya está, poco a poco, ¡qué guay!
Along the way you'll also find out why Spaniards never say hola when they answer the phone, why a caña is not the same as a cerveza, why the phone line cuts itself instead of dropping, and why ¿me pones? is what everybody really says at a bar.
The last block is the one that changes everything. Those ten words are not useful, exactly. They're what people actually sound like.
Put it on while you cook, while you walk, while you drive. Come back to it two or three times this week and these phrases stop being something you translate and start being something you say.
