Tony Myers breaks down one of his favorite places to find mature bucks: break lines where thick bedding cover meets more open timber. Tony explains how he uses big tracks, rubs, bedding cover, acorns, benches, ravines, and creek bottoms to pinpoint where mature bucks are traveling during daylight.
He also explains why he prefers hunting below ridge tops, how mature bucks use terrain to stay hidden, and why thermal hubs can ruin an otherwise perfect setup.
If you hunt big woods, public land, or thick Southern timber, this is a scouting strategy worth paying attention to.
