How to grow Mung Beans crop successfully in Pakistan |Mung Production Technology | Abid Ali Agrarian

In this video, I will try to share a practical and successful production technology of mungbeans crop which is practiced by my growers and achieved highest yield from mung crop. Best sowing time for moong crop is February and March i.e Spring sowing. Summer sowing after wheat crop, in April, May, June and July has high insect pests infestation and fungal diseases attack. Due to which, average yield is affected badly. If our mung crop farmers practice chemicals spray and control pests and disease, he may got maximum yield 25 to 30 monds per acre. Seedrate for moong crop should be 15 to 20 kg per acre. Sowing methods are broadcasting, drill and on beds but broadcasting is best one if soil is sandy loam to loam. Weeds can be controlled by spray application of pre emergence and then after first irrigation OST emergence. Fertilizers requirement for pulses is one bag DAP plus half bag SOP potash. Irrigational requirement or water scheduling is discussed as well in video. It needs 3 to 4 irrigations.
