Polish song 1934: Mieczysław Fogg - Mała kobietko, czy wiesz

Mieczysław FOGG & Ork. Syrena Rekord - Mała kobietko (Czy wiesz?) [Do You Know, Little Lady?...] Slow-fox z f-mu “Csibi” (from the Austrian film-comedy “Csibi”) (Brodszky-Włast), Syrena-Electro 1934 (Polish) NOTE: This song was first presented by Austrian comedy actress & singer Franziska Gaal in the musical comedy “Csibi”. Its original German title is “Kleine entzückende Frau”(Little Stunning Lady) and its nice & amusing lyrics are written as the warning addressed to women who overdose their makeup, thus becoming rather like painted dolls than living lovely women. In Poland, similarly to most of Europe, that song became a huge hit of the year 1934, to quickly join the list of evergreens of the interwar song in Poland. Here, it is performed by Mieczysław Fogg – the most popular prewar Polish pop singer, sometimes and not quite reasonably called “Polish Bing Crosby” (in my opinion, he was better).
