[UPGRADE] Pink Floyd - Live in London (February 20th, 1972)

Date: February 20th, 1972 Venue: Rainbow Theatre Location: Finsbury Park, London, England Photograph: Michael Putland Taper: John Baxter I was contacted by a nice gentleman who mentioned he had photographs and recordings of his live concert adventures with his best friend throughout the 70s. When he mentioned he was the photographer of Hyde Park 1970, my eyes shot wide open. The man who contacted me was none other than John Baxter himself, legendary taper of Free Trade Hall 1969, the third recorder of February 20th 1972 and May 18th 1973, and the second recorder of November 15th 1974. This video focuses on the 1972 tape this time, giving it a breath of fresh air. I am not a massive fan or expert on early Dark Side shows, but this show has one of the best tapes of the early shows with recorder 1 by the late Ian Sippen. Now, with the help of Neon, recorder 3 can be up there with Sippen's recording. Set 1 is fantastic quality, and while Mr. Baxter moves away from his seat, Set II is also very great sounding.
