Defend the Village, Then We Sail | ASKA Survival

It's Sunday, and we're back in ASKA with Kaos, Chinnie, and McSire—and this time we KNOW what's coming. We're already more than halfway through autumn, which means tonight we'll be facing our SECOND INVASION. The good news? I think we finally have the food situation under control! After spending the last several streams balancing production, fixing logistics, recruiting villagers, and figuring out why these Vikings apparently need to eat everything that isn't nailed down, the settlement finally seems to be producing enough food to keep everyone supplied. Which is good... Because now we've got a fight to prepare for. Tonight's first priority is making sure our settlement is ready for the second invasion. We'll be checking our defenses, getting the militia prepared, making sure everyone has the weapons and equipment they need, and looking at setting up patrols around the settlement. Those patrols could become especially important going forward. Between Blood Moons, Wulfar attacks, bears, and whatever else ASKA decides to throw at us, I'd like the village to be capable of handling smaller threats without requiring all of us to come running every time something decides Vikings look tasty. And once the invasion is over? There's a Karvi sitting in our harbor that's been waiting FAR too long. If we've got enough time left in the stream, we're loading up and attempting to FINALLY begin our maiden voyage! Tonight's goals: Make final preparations for the second invasion Equip and organize our militia Look at establishing permanent patrols around important areas Protect Iron Town, the harbor, and the main settlement Make sure food production remains stable Survive the invasion Repair and resupply afterward Finish provisioning the Karvi Make sure our expedition crew has food, water, weapons, and equipment And, if time allows... FINALLY SET SAIL! Once we're on the water, the first major goal remains finding one of the swamp islands. The Great Hall & Feasts Update gave us another reason to explore: wild wheat can be found on swamp islands, brought home, grown at an Improved Farm, processed into flour at the new Windmill, and eventually turned into bread. So our first voyage isn't just sightseeing anymore. We've got something to find. But first... Defend the village. Survive the invasion. Then we sail.
