Psalm 35 is a cry for the Lord to defend, contend, and bring justice when opposition feels overwhelming. Psalm 36 turns our eyes toward the character of God — His mercy reaches to the heavens, His faithfulness extends beyond what we can measure, and His lovingkindness becomes our refuge. *“Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.” — Psalm 36:5* When pressure rises, God sees. When injustice speaks loudly, God remains Judge. When the heart needs refuge, His mercy is still there. Justice belongs to Him. Mercy flows from Him. Faithfulness surrounds us.
