Amtrak, NJT & LIRR In Long Island City/Sunnyside Summer 2022

Action-packed video showcasing the wide variety of action in the Long Island City/Sunnyside area of Queens during the midday hours as well as the rush hour. Long Island Rail Road trains can be seen heading through the East River Tubes to either New York Penn Station or points east. During the rush hours, some Long Island Railroad Diesel trains can be seen operating to and from Hunterspoint Avenue or Long Island City Stations, both of which are rush hour only stations. NJ Transit trains can be found deadheading between Sunnyside yard and Penn Station at various times of the day, with most trains being stored during weekday midday hours. Finally, Amtrak trains are seen either deadheading to or from Sunnyside Yard toward Penn Station toward upstate New York, Chicago, Washington & Harrisburg just to name a few places.
