d. Present Perfect Continuous: This tense is used to describe actions that started in the past, continue in the present, and may continue into the future.

a. Simple Past: This tense is used to describe actions that were completed at a specific point in the past.
b. Past Continuous (Progressive): This tense is used to describe actions that were in progress at a specific time in the past.
c. Past Perfect: This tense is used to indicate that one action was completed before another action in the past.
d. Past Perfect Continuous: This tense is used to describe actions that were ongoing in the past and had a duration before something else happened.
It's important to note that English has many irregular verbs, which don't follow the regular pattern when changing from present to past tense. For example, "go" changes to "went" in the past tense, and "have" changes to "had." Additionally, there are many other tenses and aspects in English, but the ones listed above are the most common.
