Twisters in Pennsylvania - August 2nd, 2026 - Tornadic Waterspouts & Mothership Supercell

On August 2nd, 2026 I chased a robust and long-lived supercell on the coast of Lake Erie in northwest Pennsylvania. I documented over 10 waterspouts from this mothership supercell on the lake, some of which were actual tornadoes created by the parent mesocyclone. This was a completely unexpected event as the SPC had only highlighted a marginal risk for severe weather in the area. Most of this video takes place in Erie, Pennsylvania & North East, Pennsylvania.
