Starting at Hase Station, we first visit Kotoku-in, home to the famous Great Buddha of Kamakura. From there, we explore Hasedera Temple, known for its beautiful seasonal flowers and views over Sagami Bay. We then walk to Goryo Shrine, where the Enoden train passes right in front of the shrine’s torii gate. After that, we take the Enoden toward Gokurakuji, passing through the railway’s only tunnel along the way. After arriving at Gokurakuji Station, we visit Gokuraku-ji Temple, known for its traditional thatched-roof gate, before making our way back toward Hase. Enjoy a peaceful walk through Kamakura, with historic temples and shrines, charming streets, and the iconic scenery of the Enoden railway.
