Was bushido real? The history of the samurai reveals a more complicated story than the familiar image of warriors living by one unchanging code. This video examines four common beliefs about samurai and bushido: that every warrior followed the same rules, that samurai were always honorable, that the sword defined their lives, and that bushido remained unchanged for centuries.
