When You're Still Healing From What Broke You

Hey girl. Come on in, welcome to Sit With Selah. This one is for the woman who looks fine on the outside but is still quietly carrying something that hurt her. If some part of you is still healing, from a person, a season, or a loss you don't really talk about, come sit with me for a few minutes. You don't have to have it all together to be here. We sit with what still aches, and we look at what God actually says about the brokenhearted: that He heals, that He is near, and that He restores the years you thought were lost. A prayer over you: God, meet her right in the place she's kept hidden. Bind up what's still tender, take the shame off of her for still healing, and remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted.
