The Artist’s Journey: Pathways into Character and Creature Art

Calling all aspiring creature and character artists! Join us for a panel discussion featuring some of the most talented creature and character artists in the industry! Ashley Stegon (Cold Iron Studios), Colleen Larson (Naughty Dog), Amy Sharpe (Riot Games), and Amanda Irani (Santa Monica Studio) will share their personal journeys from being students to becoming successful professionals working on incredible projects such as The Last of Us Part II, God of War Ragnarök, and League of Legends. You'll have the opportunity to hear our panelists talk about early artistic inspirations, what it was like getting their first job, and how they approach character design. They will also discuss how they stay inspired and motivated, balance the creative process with deadlines, and how to adjust when your career goals change. Attendees will get to see our panelists' personal and professional artwork from released projects and discover how to trust the process and pave your own path to success in the world of creature and character art!
