Follow the Ashes series through Trent Bridge, Lord's, Headingley and Old Trafford, where rain, huge crowds and unforgettable innings defined the summer. Discover Charlie Macartney's famous century before lunch, Warren Bardsley's 193 not out, and Jack Hobbs and Herbert Sutcliffe's partnership in England's Ashes triumph. See rare footage of England batsman Patsy Hendren demonstrating cricket technique in 1926, revealing just how much — and how little — the game has changed. We also travel to Australia, revisiting Don Bradman's first-grade debut at just 18 and Victoria's extraordinary 1,107 against New South Wales, including Bill Ponsford's 352 and Jack Ryder's 295. These surviving cricket films have been carefully colourised, restored and upscaled to 4K, alongside original historical photographs, to offer a closer look at cricket 100 years ago.
