Stampede Reservoir Kokanee Derby 2026 We Didn’t Win. But I Won BIG!

I headed to Stampede Reservoir for the J&J Team No Drama Kokanee Derby, hoping to find a few big Kokanee from my kayak. The fishing turned out to be much tougher than expected. I released my a couple of small fish, lost a few more, and by the end of the derby I only had two Kokanee to weigh in. Even though I didn’t place in the derby, the day ended on an incredible note I won a full day guided salmon fishing trip with Here Fishy Fishy Guide Service during the raffle!
