I made a simple macramé phone bag — clean, minimal, and actually practical. Here’s how it comes together: I started with 8 cords, each 170 cm long. Then I tied 4 Chinese knots — this creates the base. After that, I worked in the round, continuing the pattern until I had 9 rows of knots on each side (not counting the first row of 4 knots). Once the body was ready, I tied 4 square knots to secure the top. For the strap, I used a 6.5 metre cord and worked it into a simple, comfortable handle.
