When Peter arrived, the widows stood weeping, holding up every garment she had made. Should this woman die, they asked, when wicked people are still alive? Peter prayed, and Dorcas came back to life. He follows it with Paul being stoned and dragged out of a city as a dead man in Acts 14. The disciples simply surrounded him with love - and he stood up and walked right back into the same city.
