I'm trying to make $1,000 selling beats online — and I'm showing every real number along the way. Two weeks in, the number is still $0. This fortnight: I finally made my first beats, went live on TikTok to one viewer, doubted the whole genre on a train, locked in the lane (Coco Jones / smooth R&B type beats), uploaded to the new type beat channel, and built a pipeline with Claude that turns one WAV into the MP3s, cover art, video, title and tags. I also changed the rules. 90s R&B takes about three hours a beat, so it's one beat a week, not three or four — and there's no 90-day deadline any more. It runs until I hit $1,000, and at day 90 we look at what actually worked.
