Scotland's economy secretary Stephen Flynn on Andy Burnham, devolution and independence referendum

Stephen Flynn tells Sky's Anna Jones and Kamali Melbourne that if Andy Burnham wants to devolve power in Scotland, he should "give the Scottish people the opportunity to determine their own future through an independence referendum". This comes as the PM heads to Scotland, where he will be offering to work with the SNP Scottish government to devolve powers to Scottish regions and towns. However, the SNP says there are "already an ongoing discussion at this moment in time with our local authorities". #SNP #scotland #stephenflynn #andyburnham #politics Sophy Ridge and Wilf Frost bring you: ◾️ The day’s essential stories from the UK and around the world ◾️ Agenda-setting interviews ◾️ Sky’s leading correspondents and editors with their analysis Follow us on X: https://x.com/RidgeandFrost Follow Sophy on Instagram:   / sophyridge   Follow Wilf on Instagram:   / wilfredfrost   Listen to Cheat Sheet here: https://podfollow.com/cheatsheet/ For more content go to http://news.sky.com and download our apps: Apple https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sky-n...
