The Prayer of Jabez: The Prayer That Changed a Destiny | 1 Chronicles 4:10 Sermon #Sermon

Jabez was born in pain and raised without a father. Yet instead of complaining, he cried out to the God of Israel — the God of the covenant. The Prayer of Jabez has three requests: "Bless me indeed," "Enlarge my territory," and "Keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me." And God granted what he requested. Why was such a short prayer answered so quickly? Because Jabez prayed according to God's covenant promise to Abraham (Genesis 22:17-18). In this sermon, you will learn what it means to receive a double blessing, how God enlarges your territory and influence, and how the hand of the Lord delivers us from evil. If your life began in sorrow, the Prayer of Jabez shows that God can turn it into honor. 📖 Scriptures (KJV): 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 · Genesis 22:17-18 · James 4:2 · Galatians 3:7, 9 · Ephesians 1:3 · 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 · 2 Corinthians 3:18 · Revelation 21:26 · Romans 8:26 · Genesis 35:11-12 · Acts 1:8 · 2 Samuel 22:3, 49 ⏱ Chapters 0:00 A Child Named Sorrow – 1 Chronicles 4:9 2:27 Jabez Called on the God of Israel 3:58 One Name in the Genealogy 5:00 Blessing Upon Blessing – God's Covenant with Abraham 6:56 Every Spiritual Blessing in Christ 7:46 Bought with a Price – Becoming Honorable 9:00 From Glory to Glory 10:47 A Testimony of the Hand of God 11:16 Enlarge My Territory 13:00 Be Fruitful and Multiply 14:28 Your God-Given Stage 15:19 Keep Me from Evil 17:08 The Hand of the Lord – David's Deliverance 19:03 Why One-Sentence Prayers Are Answered 19:38 Closing Blessing 🔔 Subscribe to Stone Pillow Dream for more biblical sermons and reflections:    / @stonepillowdream   🙏 Which part of the Prayer of Jabez do you need most today — blessing, territory, or protection?
