⁴ᴷ Shiga: Kusatsu Station (滋賀県: 草津駅) - Japan Walking Tour (December, 2024)

Since it’s getting colder, I decided to head west. I planned to visit the major cities of Shikoku, and after crossing the sea, I took a ferry from Tokushima to Wakayama, passed through Osaka, and made my way up to Shiga Prefecture. I’m gradually getting closer to Tokyo. Kusatsu City is the second most populous municipality in Shiga Prefecture after Otsu. In recent years, it’s become quite popular, with tower apartments popping up around the station.
