Snowboarding Snowshoe WV 2023 Spring Slush

Our last snowboard trip of the season! Snowshoe West Virginia! This trip was spur of the moment decision when work got called off! Honestly I already assumed our snowboarding season was done due to an unseasonably warm February and March cutting our east coast season super short! But we got off work, conditions were right, and Daniel volunteered to drive the painful 6 hour drive to snowshoe and come back in the same day! so 12 hours of driving just to get a few last laps before the snowboard season came to an end! I hadn’t been to Snowshoe in winter to ski since I was a kid! I was 13 or 14 the last time I got to see snowshoe covered in snow! It was an absolute blast! Tons of the mountain was still open, and conditions were thin, slushy and soft!
