Garbage Pail Kids Series 1 Glossy Box Break (Part 1 of 2)

This is the first box break video I've ever made and uploaded to YouTube. Had a bit of a learning curve but eventually figured it out. This was a fun one! We splurged on this box since it was being sold as a confirmed "Glossy" box. For those unfamiliar, Series 1 GPK came in both matte-back (much more common) and glossy-back cards. The most accepted theory is that Topps probably ran out of the matte card stock and just grabbed whatever was sitting there, which ended up being the glossy stock. The fronts are the same but the backs are quite different and easily detected when compared side by side. These cards have a tendency of being miscut or horribly off-center so this was a gamble, but one we couldn't resist! Luckily, this box was absolutely gorgeous and was LOADED with centered gems. Somehow we managed to avoid getting any miscut cards and only had a small handful that were badly OC. Guess this is good news for the grading companies as they'll be seeing lots of these ;)
