Istanbul Walking Tour 2026 through Grand Bazaar (Kapalıçarşı), Sultanahmet, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in stunning 4K. Discover real Istanbul life, famous Turkish food, rich Ottoman history and the city's most iconic landmarks.
Welcome to one of the most iconic walks in Istanbul, Türkiye. In this immersive 4K 60FPS walking tour, we begin at the legendary Grand Bazaar (Kapalıçarşı), one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world, before exploring the historic heart of Sultanahmet. Along the way you'll experience authentic city life, colorful streets, lively tram stations, local shops, and thousands of visitors enjoying one of the world's greatest cultural destinations.
Our route passes Beyazıt Tram Station, the famous Hafız Mustafa, where the irresistible aroma of freshly made Turkish baklava fills the air, and continues toward the historic Column of Constantine (Çemberlitaş), built by the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great in the 4th century. From there we walk into Sultanahmet Square, home to the magnificent German Fountain, the ancient monuments of the Hippodrome of Constantinople, including the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpent Column from Delphi, and the Walled Obelisk, each reflecting thousands of years of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman history.
The journey continues inside the peaceful courtyard of the breathtaking Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque), famous for its six minarets and stunning blue İznik tiles. We then walk toward the world-renowned Hagia Sophia, one of humanity's greatest architectural masterpieces, originally built in 537 AD by Emperor Justinian, later transformed into an imperial mosque, museum, and today an active mosque once again. Along the surrounding gardens you'll see beautiful fountains, colorful tulip gardens, traditional corn vendors, simit sellers, Turkish tea, locals relaxing on the lawns, and visitors from all over the world capturing unforgettable memories. Even while restoration work continues on Hagia Sophia, its timeless beauty continues to amaze millions of visitors every year.
If you're planning a trip to Istanbul, this route offers many of the city's must-see attractions in a single unforgettable walk.
