This week started the same as it ended, little bit of shop time... Surprice surprice, again a fries load :) Started up on thursday morning, taking an empty trailer to New Annan for a load of fries for a costumer in Ruther Glen Virginia. From the moment I left New Annan I had a strange feeling with the trailer brakes. Called it in and after a stop at our shop. 2.5 hours later I had brand new brakes and drums on the trailer. Unload appointment Sunday night 2300 hours. After a bad calculation from my site... So I was 24 hours early :( Waiting time begins… Once empty on Sunday night, up to my load adress. Mt Crawford Virginia 260 km further. load appointment 6 am. This is one of the better places to load, all friendly people and Always in a good mood. I arrived at 3 am and could drive in to the loading dock. loaded with food products, reefer on 35F and back up to Missessuaga Ontario, need to be there Tuesday morning at 9 am. By the time I'm empty I got the message once empty to Brampton terminal. Wednesday morning 3 am back in the saddle, with a load of racks to the concord terminal 30 km on. Here should be a load sitting ready for dorval courier. Trailer was ready at 700 hours. up to dorval. From here I bobtailed to the Quebec terminal where i took a loaded trailer for Dieppe terminal. Thursday at 1130 hours I dropped the trailer at the terminal where I got the message to take a empty can back to St John terminal. But ABS light stayed on... Back to the shop, no time to wait so dropped this trailer and took another can to St John. 7 days and 5200 km later back home. Weekend can begin...
