Welcome to the next section of my SIX Week Solo Alpine Hiking Trip throughout the three most prominent Alpine National Parks in Australia. This is the first of a five day section solo backpacking to explore the greater Mt Bogong region in Alpine National Park, Victoria. I had this wild desire to experience wild camping at Pollux Rocks which lays just under the summit of Mt Bogong. The issue is from Bivouac Hut (via the Staircase Spur) I’d need to carry all of the water I’d need until late afternoon on the following day.
